Car Reviews 2026 Lexus Rx 450H
In my humble opinion I still think that Lexus is one of the nicest vehicles on th road today. I think that Lexus has suffered a little from Toyota’s problems but Lexus is still a great and luxurious vehicle and would definitely be my choice if I could afford one. The 2010 Lexus RX-450h is the hybrid version of the RX model which is The Smaller of the Lexus SUVs It is one fine SUV that has Lexus luxury but gets pretty decent mileage. Like all Lexus vehicles the RX-450h is not cheap but it is one SWEET vehicle and I still believe that you get what you pay for.. It rides and handles very well and has one awesome sound system that none of the others even come close to as far as I am concerned. The 2010 Lexus RX-450h uses a 3.5 liter 60 degree V-6. It has a four cam, four valve per cylinder with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence. No salesman has been able to tell me what the intelligence really does. The electric drive motors (Front on the FWD and rear on the AWD) are high output, permanent magnet electric drive motors with an E.V. mode. Total system horsepower is 295. As with most of the hybrid vehicles, the RX-450h is a Certified Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle. It has plenty of power but gets 28 miles per gallon. I had one person tell me that he was getting 34 mpg. The RX-450h is a classy SUV that wont kill you a the gas pump. The RX-450h can be ordered either as a front wheel drive or an all wheel drive. Why would you not want AWD? As with most hybrids the RX-450h has an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission with manual shift and Snow Mode. Four wheel ABS disc brakes are standard as are 18″ alloy wheels and 18″ all season tires with a full sized spare. 19″ wheels are optional. The RX-450h is a joy to ride in or to drive but the thing I really enjoy the most is the 15 speaker Mark Levinson 300 watt Premium surround Sound Audio System with an in-dash, single feed six disc CD/DVD auto changer. I can plug in my iPod with over 3000 Southern Gospel songs on it through this awesome system. We took one on vacation with some friends and really enjoyed the ride. The back seat is quite comfortable even for a big guy like me. The dual screen DVD rear seat entertainment system is nice to watch DVDs of places we were going to be going and would be a real lifesaver if we went some place and took out two granddaughters Category:Home › Home • Will higher gasoline prices mean lower sales for new cars? — part 2 • Will higher gasoline prices mean lower sales for new cars? — part 1 • Should the crew of the Sea Shepherd board whaling ships? • Which makes a better pet: A dog or a cat? — part 13 • Grandparents: Can blogging chronicle your genealogy? • Which makes a better pet: A dog or a cat? — part 12 • Are teachers unions the cause of public school problems today? • Which makes a better pet: A dog or a cat? — part 11
